At six, Kajang stops moving. Engines off, aircon on, someone’s radio bleeding through the window. This is what we wore while we waited.

No backdrop needed. The shophouses, the mosque dome, the orange sky doing all the work. We shot the first set from the five-foot way while the light went from gold to gone.

Washed-black heavyweight cotton inside a shoplot with one fan. The tank is oversized on purpose — enough room for the drive home, the satay stop, and the “one more stick” negotiation.

Peach jersey, iced Milo, one roti canai you didn’t order but ate anyway. The mamak is the real changing room — nobody looks at you twice, and the fan always hits the right seat.
